Hunting Area

Duck Guides Inc. is located in the bottleneck of the Mississippi Flyway where the three major rivers all come together: the Mississippi, White, and Arkansas. These three rivers are like road maps for waterfowl to follow in their winter migration. The area provides everything needed for waterfowl through the fall and winter months; open water, food sources, cover, and what Arkansas is known for – flooded timber hunting!

Our hunting area consists of the Flooded Green Timber Lakes that have large comfortable blinds. These blinds are in proven productive hunting areas that have been hunted since the early 1900s. We also offer flooded crop fields with pit blinds for ultimate concealment and protection form the elements on cold, rainy days.

Along with the Flooded Green Timber Lakes, we have the WRE Project areas. These developed acres are designed for wetland waterfowl habitation. This gives us the option to diversify to whatever is needed to provide the best hunt possible.

The White River National Wildlife Refuge is made up of over 160,000 acres of hardwood bottomlands with an abundance of protected oxbow lakes for waterfowl. This, with the thousands of acres of agricultural fields, offers many opportunities for resting and food sources for local and migrating waterfowl.

There is no contest as to why Arkansas, and this area, are known as the Duck Hunting Capital of the World!
