We like to let the ducks rest and feed in the afternoon to keep them in the area.

Arrangements can be made for afternoon goose hunts. These hunts will only be offered if geese are using the area. The hunt is $100 per person

A special treat is to make a trip to Stuttgart and visit Mack's Prairie Wings. This is like a child going to a toy store. Stuttgart is about 30 miles away.

We also have skeet shooting to sharpen up on your skills. This is offered at $25 per person for 25 targets.

Quail and pheasant hunts can also be arranged

Required Equipment:
To be prepared for the hunt you will need to bring the following items:

  • SHOTGUN: Most hunters will be shooting a 12 or 20 gauge. We recommend modified choke or a special choke for steel shot.
  • SHELLS: We recommend using shot size #2 or your favorite non-toxic shot #4 or larger.
  • BOOTS: Chest waders are the preferred footwear. They will be warm and will help keep you dry.
  • RAIN GEAR: A camouflage rain jacket along with wide brimmed water proof hat.
  • CLOTHING: Warm camouflage clothing is a must, layers work best. You will also need gloves, face mask and ear plugs for your protection.
  • MEMORIES: To remember your hunt, bring a camera or video recorder.


Reservations are a first come first serve basis

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required within 10 days of tentatively booking your hunt with your balance due upon arrival.
